Dr. Fred Lopez is the Richard Vial Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Medicine and Section of Infectious Diseases at the Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Medicine-New Orleans. He is a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Stanford University.
